We're a MD-based DC commercial photography studio focusing on no-fuss news, commercial, portrait and political photography. For years, Marty shot deadline news stories, features and portraits for editorial clients - Time, Newsweek, the NYTimes and most other US and international news and business magazines and newspapers. He learned to quickly get access to, light, charm and document people all over, and then get the goods in by courier, cellphone, satphone, bus driver, conductor or the last-closing Fedex. These days, the shoots are still in steel mills, the Capitol, slammed kitchens, boardrooms or on the road, and can be more complex crew productions with high-res images sent online, but thinking up, executing and delivering pictures editors and AD's depend on by deadline is the same:
it has to be good.

Marty's latest focus is using new very-low-light digital cameras to catch
the emotions in dim late-night dances all over for a book project.
